Gabrielle Tyler

 Mezzo-Soprano, is a Houston-based performer and educator known for her warm vocal color, grounded musicality, and thoughtful artistic approach. She holds a B.M. in Vocal Performance from Houston Christian University and teaches with Lessons In Your Home, working with young singers and pianists across the Houston area. Gabrielle has been a semi-finalist and finalist in competitions including Greater Houston NATS and TEXOMA NATS.

In the 2026–27 season, Gabrielle returns to Houston Grand Opera for productions of Susannah, Aida, and Der Rosenkavalier. She recently completed her tenure as an Emerging Artist with Opera in the Ozarks, where she performed La Zia Principessa in Suor Angelica and Marcellina in Le nozze di Figaro. Additional credits include the Texas premiere of Stephen Schwartz’s Séance on a Wet Afternoon with Lone Star Lyric, appearances in HGO’s Tannhäuser and La Bohème, Donna Elvira in Don Giovanni with Houston Christian University, and serving as the cover for the Mother Abbess in The Sound of Music with A.D. Players. She also works as a staff singer at Memorial Drive Presbyterian Church under the direction of Charles Haussmann.

Gabrielle continues her artistic development with her primary coach, Keith Chambers, collaborative coach Bethany Self, and her voice teacher, Melanie Sonnenberg.
